How many passengers can River Runner take?
We can take up to 12 passengers per trip, made up of individuals or groups.
Do we have to wear a life jacket?
Yes, life jackets must be worn on board. We have adult and child life jackets for you to use.
Do I need to declare a health condition?
Yes! If you have a health condition, you should make us aware BEFORE boarding. Your safety is our priority.
Do you allow dogs?
Unfortunately not. For our passengers’ safety, and your dog’s safety, please leave your dog at home.
Can we bring a picnic?
Our River Picnics are for you if you want to bring food with you. You can book a freshly made picnic to order from Shipshape Cafe in Ramsgate Harbour and collect on your way to boarding.
Where do you boat trips leave from?
River Runner leaves from either Sandwich Quay, or Ramsgate Harbour. We are dependent on tide times so times of trips may vary and may occasionally be limited.
Are you equipped for wheelchair access?
Yes! Our boats are especially adapted for easy wheel chair access boarding at Ramsgate Harbour. Onboard there is ample room for up to 4 wheelchair users, plus their supporters/carers. Due to stairs to access the pontoon, sorry, but we are unable to offer this facility at Sandwich Quay.
Are you fully insured?
Yes, our boat and skipper are fully insured for commercial use. Our Skipper has many years experience of skippering boats at sea.
